The Newcomer Ethnocultural Youth Council of Winnipeg (NEYCW) is a youth-led advisory group that advocates for the needs of immigrant and ethnocultural youth in Winnipeg. We work to improve policies, programs, and services that support newcomer youth.
Any newcomer or ethnocultural youth (ages 15-30) living in Winnipeg who is passionate about community leadership, advocacy, and supporting fellow newcomers.

No! NEYCW membership is completely free.
We host workshops, cultural exchanges, career fairs, mental health sessions, and community dialogues—all designed to support newcomer youth.
We connect youth to essential services (housing, jobs, education), advocate for their needs, and create safe spaces for discussion and growth.
Yes! We welcome volunteers for events, outreach, and projects. Check our "Volunteer" section for opportunities.
We are supported by Immigration Partnership Winnipeg (IPW) and Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
Yes! We prioritize reconciliation by collaborating with Indigenous groups and educating members on Indigenous histories and cultures.
